There was nothing in particular that got me into physical fitness. It's more just that at 35 I'm getting a little older and things don't come quite as easy as they used to. I'm aware that I'm not going to magically get younger so I'd better get serious about my health now before it becomes a problem that maybe can't be corrected in the years ahead.
This might sound ridiculous but it was because of a main character in an anime, wherein his routine was to run 14 kilometers every morning. I thought to myself that I should start conditioning myself too so that I would be prepared push comes to shove. I wasn't a sporty person but I found interest on taking runs once in a while.
